Civil Ceremony – Legal Wedding in Mexico with Vows, Letter & Seal

Tying the knot for life? Not just symbolically, but legally? Then a civil ceremony is for you. Whether you want to get married on the beach or in a registry office, on a small or large scale. The ceremony will be performed in English or Spanish, with German translation upon request.

The civil ceremony lasts about 20 minutes, after which you can celebrate as you wish. The marriage license in Mexico is internationally valid, so you can have your marriage legally recognized in your own country. Please contact us here to learn more about the exact requirements and documents needed.

Catholic Wedding Ceremony

Are you already married in a civil ceremony and want to add the emotional icing on the cake with a church ceremony? No problem – Catholic weddings are available in several churches on the Riviera Maya. The ceremony lasts about 30 minutes and is conducted in English or Spanish by a priest. We are happy to provide a German translation upon request. We even have a German priest here.

In order to prepare everything according to your wishes, we should meet in person at least three days before the big day. We will also need the appropriate documents. Catholic weddings are officially recognized in other countries if certain requirements are met.

Upon request, we can also arrange weddings according to the customs of other religions.

Intimate Ceremony & Elopement

If you’re looking for a heartfelt alternative to a church or civil wedding, an intimate ceremony offers the perfect way to celebrate your love – just the two of you or with a select few. Often chosen after a civil marriage or as a romantic elopement, this type of ceremony is personal, symbolic, and fully customizable. It’s not bound by religious rules or legal constraints and is wonderfully inclusive for all couples, including same-sex partners.

Beach ceremonies are especially popular, and we offer stunning wedding venues in Mexico’s most breathtaking locations. Prefer something off the beaten path? You can choose from unique settings like private villas, boutique hotels, cenotes, stalactite caves, or charming private chapels.

The intimate wedding ceremony will typically be led by a professional officiant, but it can also be conducted by a close friend, an independent theologian, or anyone meaningful to you. We’ll be by your side to help you plan every detail to ensure that your wedding ceremony and celebration is deeply personal and truly unforgettable. To make it the best day of your life.

Mayan Ceremony – Magical and Mystical

A Mayan ceremony is probably the most magical way to promise eternal love. This ancient ritual celebrates marriage as a cosmic consecration. Mexico’s beautiful Riviera Maya offers the perfect setting: a mystical jungle, the crystal clear waters of millions of years old cenotes, or a dreamy Caribbean beach. You decide where you want to have this special and spiritual experience.

The Mayan ceremony is led by a shaman. He is still considered the guardian of ancient knowledge, a spiritual guide and traditional healer in the Mayan culture. He begins by ritually cleansing the chosen dream site. To do this, he uses copal (a tree resin that has been used in rituals for centuries). He then plays the sound of the caracol (a sea snail) and asks for permission to make the connection in all four directions. A magical and very spiritual moment with goose bumps guaranteed.

The shaman then blesses your union in front of the four elements (fire, water, earth, air) that play a central role in Mayan culture. He asks the energy of the universe to give you a covenant of eternal energy and love. A very emotional ceremony that will stay in your hearts forever. This unforgettable ritual is performed in English or Spanish and lasts 45 minutes.

Symbolic Wedding – The Moving Renewal of Vows

Maybe you’ve been married for a long time and your love is still as strong as the first day. Do you want to show each other that you would choose each other again and again? A symbolic wedding is the perfect way to renew your vows. For many, this symbolic ceremony is even more emotional than the original wedding. Because it shows: You are still the most important person in my heart, and my “I do” from then is still valid now and forever.
